Hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) is a naturally occurring metabolite of the amino acid leucine. Research has shown that supplementing with HMB may be beneficial for the body. It may be used to help promote muscle growth, reduce muscle loss, improve muscle strength and body composition, slow muscle fatigue, improve exercise recovery, and burn fat.

HMB is one of my favorite physical performance enhancers, I used it in supplemental form for several months and it helped me put on some muscle so I'm happy to see it here as an IC that I can drink between sets - will do some experimentation with it!
