Acidum Carbolicum 5CH (Carbolicum acidum, prepared from carbolic acid/phenol) is a homeopathic remedy traditionally associated with offensive, putrid or foul-smelling discharges and very offensive digestive disturbances (classically described with diarrhoea/dysentery-like patterns). It may help support comfort in situations involving GI upset, mouth–throat/nasal issues with unpleasant odor, and skin or wound irritation where discharges are prominent.
