COSTOCHONDRITIS: NAVIGATING THE SHARP REALITY OF CHEST WALL PAIN
That sudden, stabbing pain in the front of your chest, especially on the left side, intensified by every breath, twist, or simple movement, can be alarming and deeply disruptive. Often mistaken for heart or lung emergencies, COSTOCHONDRITIS, is an inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the sternum that, while benign, can significantly impact daily life.

Interesting- it did not feel good to me- but I don’t find myself in fear or stress much. Timing was off for me, especially with breathing. It is good to see that many people respond well to this- my clients are probably not like me!!
Laurie Levine-Lowen, that is actually a very insightful observation!
Not every IC resonates the same way with every person, and Calm Again may have been designed more for people who are actively in a fear/stress/anxiety pattern. If you are already naturally more regulated or not operating from that state, the pacing or breathing rhythm may simply not feel aligned for your nervous system.

It’s also a great reminder that practitioners and clients can respond very differently to the same IC. Sometimes an IC that feels “off” personally can still be extremely supportive for someone with a very different nervous system pattern or emotional baseline.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful practitioner feedback 🌿
