Hi Eric, you can apply IC Hummer or IC Pad to the side of the head. If using IC Hummer set volume to a comfortable level. If using IC Pad you can place it on the pillow, put soft fabric on top and the lay down so IC Pad directed towards center of the head. You can also apply it to the sternum.
