It is supposed to be taken 20 min before going to sleep and never later than 2 am as our bodies do not produce melatonin much later than that ..and I was reading that it might be even harmful to supplement with melatonin later than 2 am and of course during the day when our bodies do not secrete this hormone... so I suggest using this Ic late evening and removing melatonin for during the day... following is a little copy paste ab melatonin;”Taking too much melatonin can actually cause rebound insomnia —either rendering the supplement ineffective or worse, exacerbating your already sleepless nights further. You only need tiny doses of melatonin to support your natural sleep cycle.”... hope this is helpful! Melatonin is released by the body during the dark hours not during the day! Stay well!
