Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a chemical that is found naturally in the body as well as in foods (such as cocoa beans) and can be synthesized in a lab. PEA acts as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and helps the body create certain chemicals that play a role in mood stabilization. Chemically, PEA is similar in structure and function to the drug amphetamine (Adderall) and may be used as an alternative. PEA may be used to help with anxiety and depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fatigue and low motivation, brain fog, poor concentration and focus, and low libido. It may also be used to boost mood, support athletic performance, enhance energy levels, promote weight loss, boost cognitive performance, and reduce stress.

What is the best time to give this to my 7 years old child with ADHD and autism? Should I give before school only? He already has trouble sleeping normally so I want to make sure this does not interrupt his sleep. He has too much energy, impulsivity and not enough focus. ALSo is this formula non habit forming? thanks
