Lena Gaisreiter, a simple way to think about the modes is:

Imprint mode → for imprinting water, creams, oils, and also stickers
Apply to body mode (some call it PEMF mode) → for direct body sessions

Any types of ICs can be used in both modes.

Best I understand holograms and water use the blue light. PEMFs use the red. If you have both in a complex there is a choice of mixing the blue and red.
