Acute shin splints occur when repeated stress irritates the muscles, tendons, and periosteum along the shin, usually from running or jumping. This causes sharp or throbbing pain on the inner tibia, worsened by activity. In this PEMF we have included frequencies to reduces symptoms in the tissues including, reducing bleeding and microtrauma, pain and paralysis in the involved muscles, periosteum, fascia, connective tissue and the blood vessels whilst increasing Mitochondrial energy in the tissues. We have included a Chronic Shin Splints PEMF that works specifically to repair the and restore function in these tissues for you to use.
