Mary Anne Doherty, measles can be serious in children, so please contact his pediatrician promptly, and seek urgent care if he has high fever, trouble breathing, unusual sleepiness/confusion, or signs of dehydration.

Infrared (IR) light is invisible to the naked eye, but looking directly at it can damage eyesight. Does that mean we shouldn't look at a functioning IC pad?

Yan, great question — and you’re right that infrared light isn’t visible 😊

The IC Pad uses LED lights (blue, red, and infrared), and even when the infrared mode appears “dark,” it’s still active. So as a general precaution, it’s best not to look directly into the emitters, even if you don’t see light.
