Doxycycline is used to treat a variety of bacterial and protozoan infections. It can be used for respiratory tract infections, bacterial pneumonia, urinary tract infections, acne, rosacea, pelvic inflammatory disease, chlamydia infections, early Lyme disease, cholera, and syphilis.

My 17 year old grandson has been give this antibiotic (100mg) 120 capsules by a Dermatologist to be taken 2x daily, I think this is a bit extreme, but would appreciated advice on this protocol he has been given
He has tiny pimple type rash on his back and face.  Was not even advized to take a Probiotic

What would you recommend for number of times to repeat the imprint and amount of water to be equivalent to a prescribed dose of 50 mg tablet?
