Do we have anything here to stop allergy response to poison oak/poison ivy - urushiol?

Just not via the histamine channels. Which is why it's such a problem, as antihistamines are completely ineffectual for the severe and long lasting itching rash.
I'm sure folks would very much love to have specific help for poison oak and poison ivy - I know I would!

If antihistamines could improve the itching, it would be a MUCH better situation to navigate. Poison oak is a big problem in my region, people are hospitalized for it regularly. The immune system is involved though, certainly.
