The IC pad only lights up blue. What does that mean?

Gerlinde, when device is on and you click on the button, you select light mode - light will flash for 1 second and will turn off, just to show what light mode is selected. Why would the glow pad nor light up when imprinting to stickers? Itโ€™s physically connected via headphone cord, volume turned all the way up and battery charged. Thoughts? Thanks  /
