For 25 years I have had chronic bronchitis with severe breathing difficulties. The only way the current medication works for me is high dose cortisone for 5 to 7 days. Hi Pierre-Alain, thank you very much for sharing your experience! At the moment we don't yet have an answer to that question, but there is a possibility that bacteria will not develop resistance to antibiotic ICs. We think that antibiotics ICs do not kill infection directly, but somehow help the body to fight it.
