Rose root (Rhodiola rosea), also known as roseroot, golden root, or Arctic root, is an herb that grows naturally in cold, mountainous regions and is not the root of a rose bush. Its root and underground stem are traditionally used as an adaptogenic herbal ingredient. Rose root may help the body cope with periods of physical and emotional stress and may temporarily ease stress-related fatigue, exhaustion, weakness, and reduced stamina. Additionally, it may help support energy, mental focus, mood, and physical endurance.
