Phenibut is the alcohol alternative. The IC has a more subtle effect - it will take the edge off a bit if you drink it with dinner. When I abstain from a nightly glass of vino, I sip this.

Question for Anton, I was using Sleep Complex with some benefit and then added Phenibut to it a few days ago and noticed a definite step up in sleep quality. I have also read that Phenibut should be used with caution as it can cause addiction and serious withdrawal symptoms... See more
