SS-31 peptide, also known as elamipretide, is a small synthetic peptide composed of four amino acids that has been studied for its potential effects on mitochondrial function and cellular energy production. It may help support muscle strength, stamina, physical performance, recovery from fatigue and reduced exercise tolerance, cardiovascular and kidney function, brain, nerve, and eye health, the body’s response to oxidative stress, and healthy aging and cellular resilience.
