So, cattle dog had huge itch relief from Prednisone (of course with all the side effects) so that option is out.  But I am wondering if I could use it energetically and if it would have the same, more or less effect on her itch.  The itch is from internal drivers and less histamine.  Apoquel is marginally helpful and I am desperate to her off that in the next two weeks.

Tricia, yes, you can use ICs of medications like Prednisone energetically, and they do not carry the same chemical side effects as the drug itself.

Since your dog responded well to Prednisone, a good starting point would be:

โ€ข Prednisone : This helps calm the internal inflammatory drivers behind the itch, similar to how the medication worked, but in a more regulatory way.

For localized skin areas

Hello Anton, I've been taking cortisone for over 18 months for polymyalgia rheumatica. I'm currently tapering off the cortisone; what do you recommend to make the process as smooth as possible? I'm currently taking 4 mg per day. Also, is there anything I should do to support my adrenal glands? Thank you in advance.

leclere, tapering after long-term cortisone is wise to do slowly with your rheumatologistโ€™s guidance. To support the process and your adrenals, here are my two best Infopathy options:

Adrenal Cortex Power 2.0 - Designed to support and activate the adrenal cortex. It can be used while tapering cortisone to help encourage your own adrenal output. Best used in the morning (ideally before 15:00). You can place the IC Pad... See more
