I am having trouble understanding the claim that we can take ICs of substances and get their benefits but not their undesirable side effects. How is the side effect filtered out? Is the way the IC works that the "intention" of the pharmaceutical is somehow what comes through but not the "un-intention"? Jennifer, thank you for this thoughtful and important question! We have the following hypothesis: ICs are much less stable structures (coherent domains of the water and mimic signal of the molecules) compared to the actual chemicals. Therefore, ICs do not last for a long time in the body, they do not deposit in the tissue, and usually have much lighter effects. Therefore, the same IC water should be taken... See more

And to clarify, I realize now that spironolactone is not currently an offered IC -- however, that was just an example for the general question I am asking. Thank you in advance for any clarity you can provide on understanding how to think about side effects when choosing ICs.
