Hi Chadwick, some people tried to imprint crystals and mentioned it worked for them. There are also publications on imprinting some composite materials like plastic-aluminum, bee wax, and sugar beads.

Hi Noel, if IC Hummer gets hot, please lower the audio volume (below 50% or more), then it should be okay.
