In the medulla oblongata are important neuronal centers for the control of blood circulation and respiration, as well as reflex centers for the sneeze, cough, and swallow reflex. The vomiting center is also located here. In addition, the medulla oblongata houses receptors that are important for the regulation of the acid-base balance.

Wow! Our son coughed for an hour in bed. When I put this IC on him it only took 5 minutes & he fell asleep without coughing once! No cough syrup has done that before.
