Hi everyone. I am experimenting with imprinting clear quartz and wearing it on a necklace. I have a few questions... I have seen from other comments that the imprint on a quartz crystal will last 30 days, does it hurt to re-imprint it every few days? Can I imprint other ICs into it during those 30 days (does this wipe the first imprint?) or should I use different pieces for... See more

Re-imprinting every few days does not hurt at all. You donโt need to wait 30 days โ thatโs just an approximate duration people observe for how long an imprint can remain stable. Many users simply re-imprint whenever it feels right or when they change ICs.

If you imprint a new IC onto the same crystal, it will generally replace the previous imprint. Because of that, if you want to work with different ICs at the same time, itโs usually better to use different crystals. You can create a complex with all ICs you need and imprint that complex in All at once mode.
Clear quartz is mentioned often because itโs very neutral and versatile, making it easy to imprint. That said, other crystals can absolutely be used. If you already feel grounded and comfortable wearing black tourmaline, thereโs no problem using it โ personal resonance matters. Just keep in mind that some stones feel more โspecialized,โ whereas clear quartz is more all-purpose.
They work on a similar informational principle, but theyโre used a bit differently. Crystals are wearable and continuous โ great for ongoing, gentle support. Holographic stickers are often easier to use for injuries or very targeted placement on the body, but they can also be used for ongoing gentle support, depending on how you choose to work with them. Neither is โbetterโ โ theyโre simply different tools depending on your preference and the situation.
